Designed and tested in collaboration with ON pro players, the ON The Roger Pro Fire shoes are built with added durability for all levels of players, but are specifically catered to those who slide on hard courts. The upper material on the medial side features added TPU, and the upper lace eyelets are concealed; both design elements increase the lifespan of the shoes for those players who slide on hard courts and drag the back leg. The mid-foot shank plate and reinforced heel counter help to deliver a very stable feel, even when braking at high speeds. The midsole is elevated on the lateral edge of the forefoot to supply added support on those quick lateral cuts and changes of direction, while the Speedboard increases lateral stability and explosiveness when pushing off. The rubber outsole offers great traction on a variety of court surfaces and has higher wear resistance for those players sliding on abrasive courts.
